This life allows us to head off into uncharted waters (uncharted that is for us) and unhook from the constraints of home ownership and responsibilities connected with living in an established community. We are only responsible for ourselves.
On the down side this can be quite isolating. We do not want to be hermits. We are retired, but not retired from life. Human nature being the way it is means, for both our sanities, we want and need to be connected to others. If this caravan space, no matter how nifty, did not have good wifi connection I would not want to be in it.
Peter has ensured, with the purchase of a simple modem, that our devices connect at will wherever we are. This simple machine (probably a very complex piece of equipment actually) shoots out strong wifi and allows us to zoom others, watch T.V., peruse Netflix, use internet banking, facebook friends and post blogs. No satellite dish is needed.
On a powered site a chrome cast makes a simple screen up the front morph into a smart T.V. Alexa can be plugged in to help us with our day. We google to our hearts delight.
On a rainy day, or any day we are not inclined to venture outside, the world is still our oyster.
